Traveling Doctors Office
Everything you want from a visit, nothing you don't
What do expect from a typical visit to your regular practioner's office?
Waiting for hours in the waiting room watching reruns of HGTV while everyone cough & sneezes on you?
Then waiting for hours in the cramped exam room where you can't even watch the reruns of HGTV anymore?
Your PCP finally runs in, talks to you for three minutes (maybe eight if you are really sick), then you are out the door and hope the pharmacy fax machine didn't eat your prescription.
That's a good visit. What about when a family member has to take an entire day off of work to help load mom , dad or both in the car? The herculean effort to get wheelchairs and scooters to and from the van. Assuming Pops is still mobile enough to get into a wheelchair! What if your loved one is completely bed bound? Now you have to pay the fire department and transport ambulance to whick your loved one for the hours of misery in the office.
Luckily there is a solution.
Residential medicine. We can perform all of the tests that you expect from your PCP's office from the comfort of your home. Lab work, x-rays, ultrasounds, even osteoporosis screenings.
And yeah, sometimes we might be running late. It happens. But wouldn't it be better being stuck waiting for us watching HGTV reruns at home, minus all the germs?
